Your first steps:
The easiest way to start is to kill some slimes in the Beginners Zoneuntil you reach level 19.
Note: Your dagger can be found in you bag if you press F6, double-click it and your damage will increase.
Level Settings
Once you gain a level, you will receive 3 additional status points to give to your character.
Here is a short explanation on every type of stat point your character has:
- Charisma (CHR): This is a rather useless type of stat if you want to build a strong character, this stat is required to create your own guild (20 CHR required) or to purchase cheaper items and potions at your vendors. Be aware though, that very few people have this, because getting Charisma only to be able to buy cheap items, isn't a very good idea, when building ones first character.
- Strength (STR): This stat will increase you damage done by melee weapons, and will also make you able to wear heavier and stronger armours and weapons. Strength is very important to a warrior, it’s useless without it. Strength also adds a little amount of HP.
- Dexterity (DEX): Dexterity will increase your ability to dodge physical attacks, and will also increase your hitting probability (the chance you successfully hit a enemy target). This stat is also very important to a warrior.
- Intelligence (INT): Intelligence is a very important stat for a mage, a mage can learn itself new spells when giving itself Intelligence points, INT will also give you more casting probability (CP) (The chance you successfully cast a spell).
- Magic (MAG): The name speaks for itself, this stat is very important for mages, MAG will increase the damage done by Magic spells and will also give you more Mana and Mana regenerations.
- Vitality (VIT): Vitality is important for any character to survive in the dangerous world of Helbreath, the amount of VIT is a matter of preference, but we’ll tell you this: You can never have enough VIT! VIT adds HP (more than Strength does) and also increases your HP regenerations.
Type of characters:
I can advise you these kind of stats to work for until you get level 180:
| | | |||||
| | 32 INT | 10 MAG | 10 CHR | 200 STR | 200 DEX | 155 VIT |
Suggestion 01 | 59 INT | 50 MAG | 10 CHR | 156 STR | 200 DEX | 132 VIT |
Suggestion 02 | 59 INT | 10 MAG | 10 CHR | 200 STR | 200 DEX | 128 VIT |
Suggestion 03 | 59 INT | 50 MAG | 10 CHR | 182 STR | 200 DEX | 106 VIT |
Suggestion 01 | 112 INT | 50 MAG | 10 CHR | 156 STR | 180 DEX | 99 VIT |
Suggestion 02 | 112 INT | 100 MAG | 10 CHR | 130 STR | 165 DEX | 90 VIT |
Suggestion 03 | 112 INT | 50 MAG | 10 CHR | 182 STR | 150 DEX | 103 VIT |
As for mages; There is actually only one kind of stat setting used by all mages, which is:
| | | |||||
| | 200 INT | 200 MAG | 10 CHR | 40 STR | 50 DEX | 107 VIT |
Join a town
You will then have to go to either the Elvine Cityhall, or the Aresden Cityhall, to join Aresden, go to the southern teleport (tp), to go to Elvine, go to the eastern tp. Once you stand on one of these teleports, you will get teleported to the Elvine or Aresden Farm. To join one of these towns, you need to enter the town, and need to exit the farm, this can be done by the teleport path (around 5 steps beneath your character). Once you got teleported, you can press CTRL+M to open your minimap, in the middle of the map you can see the Cityhall, go in the Cityhall and talk to the Cityhall Officer and ask for your Citizen Request. Once you’ve accepted this request, you’ve successfully become a Civilian of Elvine or Aresden, and made a start with your adventures at Helbreath!
